Blogsam and Jetsam

Flotsam is the part of the wreckage of a ship or its cargo found floating on the water. Jetsam is cargo or parts of a ship that are deliberately thrown overboard, as to lighten the ship in an emergency, and that subsequently either sinks or is washed ashore. This is my personal blog version of the above. Loot freely.

I'm annoyed that the world is going crazier faster than it used to be. But it's interesting to watch.

I Made Something

See?

The yarn is from Schaefer, calls itself "Jane Addams," was an unexpected (and most appreciated) birthday present and is all my favorite colors.

I've since fixed the neckline so it doesn't gap and pull away so much. Real-world debut is tomorrow.

(yes those are leopard-print outing-flannel pajama bottoms; thank you so much for noticing.)

Very nice. I have some Schaeffer, too, but I can't for the life of me remember which colorway. A famous woman, no doubt.

Wow and here I was thinking nobody ever read my blog any more!

Oh and by the way: I didn't want to hear it at the time because she can ALSO be a mean-assed bitch but you were right about the Axis Two part of my mother.
